"Whisper of the Serpent" by Jason Ebeyer, 2022
This motion work is an introspective piece. Examining and reflecting on feelings of abandonment, societal judgment and the yearning for companionship. The figures embrace against the towering steeple of an old chapel, bathed in cold moonlight and the shadow of the structure. A veiled suggestion of fear and anxiety is present, but I hope the soft feeling of togetherness overpower, and the warmth of the embrace offers hope.
