Inspired by the interior transformation of bitter lifeless waters into sweet life-giving waters:
"So he cried out to יהוה, and יהוה showed him a piece of wood; he threw it into the water and the water became sweet" Exodus 15:25.
Photomontage produced from six photographs captured in the Atacama desert salt flats, and the Chilean coast. The dark salt waters in the bottom transition to sweet waters represented by the white cloud above.
Part of the “Memories” series, the photomontage is created to represent an interior place, both of the author and the viewer. It is a stage to contemplate, feel, and think.
