Daydream was a photograph taken in early 2015 at a decommissioned military installation overlooking the San Francisco Bay. While the crowds gathered to admire the San Francisco skyline bathed in the early morning light, I turned in the opposite direction to find an ensemble of striking colors and a young woman admiring the vista... or was she? All visual cues led me to assume that she was there enjoying the moment as a jubilant spectator and not as someone bearing the same scars as the fence before her.
