This piece represents one of my most rewarding experiences i ever had.
My relationship with mountains was changing with the time, at first i was seeking summits to please my ego, then i found a pure and joyful state, with eyes opend from my soul, looking at things like never before, i like to call it "coexist", when you find a synergy with nature, like an awakening.
Thanks to photography i envisioned this visual languaje that i call "Magnificent Simplicity", putting in perspective a sense of scale of the extraourdinary in a very subtle ways. Mountains specially have a beautiful energy, they basically healed me, my sense of exploration gained a new way that enforced me to go beyond normal routes, that doesn't mean i'm not going to make summits, but i learned that the journey itself is what really matters.
Rise above your fears, rise above your excuses, rise above your ego, the most beatiful things in life are waiting for you!
This shot was in one of the southermost mountain range in the world, in Southern Patagonia, Argentina. The summit is actually a huge dome of glacier that hypnotized me.
