"Its Kicking In" is a vibrant and dynamic art piece that captures the euphoric highs and distorted reality of drug use and other vices. The canvas is awash with intense, pulsating colors that seem to dance and swirl, reflecting the heightened senses and distorted perceptions of the subject. The use of bold hues and dynamic brushstrokes convey the rush of adrenaline and the overwhelming sense of pleasure that comes with indulging in one's vices. The piece also touches on the darker side of this experience, as the distorted shapes and forms hint at the chaos and confusion that can come with losing oneself to one's desires. The central figure, a distorted and exaggerated self-portrait , symbolizes the inflated ego that often accompanies indulgence. Overall, "Its Kicking In" is a thought-provoking exploration of the allure and dangers of giving in to our vices.
