The Art of Bonsai

the art of bonsai acrylic paint over printed blotter paper the pure and the damned was born in search of a new light. I wanted to depict the human experience and the control we have over it to better ourselves at any given second of the day. the decisions we make today can have the greatest effect on our lives weeks and years from this very moment. as for a bonsai tree, you can chop, trim, wire, and totally manipulate this plant to grow and blossom in every which way you choose to, shaping its growth and silhouette which wont happen overnight, but it takes years and lots of care to for the plant to grow into the phenomenon you shaped it to be. the idea of having something to hone and perfect for years to come has really grown on me, its a practice that takes patience, dedications, and full integrity to fully get the best results out of the seeds you plant today.
