भंग

The postures, or bhangas (भंग), are designed to promote physical health, flexibility, and strength and to help practitioners prepare for meditation and other spiritual practices. The traditional interpretation of the postures does not necessarily include any explicit or implicit sexual connotations. The idea behind this belief is that the body holds onto memories and experiences, both good and bad, and these memories can manifest as physical tension, pain, or discomfort. Some visual screens in painting depict the blurred memories of a person's past experiences, which are related to the postures of the human body and can affect both the subconscious and conscious levels of the soul.
