FONS VITAE. Source of Life.

This NFT represents the Canvas Painting I did in 2020. 60x100 cm (24x39 inch) Oil on canvas 2020 At the center of the composition is a strange ancient stone fountain and above it hangs a bitten apple - a symbol of temptation, of original sin, which gave rise to the diversity of modern humanity (according to the Bible). The apple is as old as the moon and petrified. Here it serves as the reference to cosmology. The history of mankind is longer than the Biblical theory. The bowl of the fountain stands out in its architecture. It is made of stylized in stone modern digital fractals - frozen magnetic fields. The bowl itself is more of an antenna, indicating that life on Earth was formed from the outside, thanks to the uniform laws of the universe, encoded in relic background radiance. All other components of the painting are derivatives of evolution. Architecture and things turn to dust and smoke. Only humanity's self-renewal, preserving its youth through reproduction, is eternal. So: the source of life is a cosmic fountain symbolizing the global theory of directed evolution. At the same time: the source of life is the mother, giving birth to new life.
