Each piece is an acrylic painting on canvas, with dimensions ranging between 51 inches and 57 inches. These artworks delve into the spiritual realm and the cosmic inspiration of our ancestors, focusing on the carvings that depicted gods, spirits, and ancestors. I aim to peer into this dimension and draw upon its deep well of spiritual inspiration. The result is a collection of unique pieces, born from a distinct dimension within my mind, where I explore the concepts of myth and the artistry of the mystics. Furthermore, these works are intertwined with Ga Samai, ancient Ga Adangbe symbols that convey proverbs reflecting our ancestors' worldviews. I strive to bridge the thought processes of our forebears and the spiritual plane, capturing the essence of their artistic inspiration – the space where they drew their philosophy and aesthetics to craft the ancient spiritual carvings and proverbs.
