Horse - The 10th E State

"Horse", the latest painting from the 10th E State unveils a stark vista of technological advancement against the backdrop of a frozen world. In this realm of ice and snow, the narrative is twofold: the birth of a new sentinel, a robotic horse, stands in contrast to the traditional steeds now relegated to the whims of the 10th E State officials. The mechanic, a lone figure against the expanse, is the intermediary between the old world and the new, meticulously preparing the mechanical beast to fulfill the roles once held by its living predecessors. As the officials of the 10th E State employ the real horses for more sinister tasks, patrolling and hunting within the estate's borders, the painting casts a reflective light on their motives. These living horses, symbols of a bygone era, are now pawns in a game of power and surveillance, their grace and nobility harnessed for darker purposes. The painting, a blend of somber tones and the cold sheen of the artificial, invites contemplation of the estate's future, where control is exerted with a calculated precision. It raises questions about the essence of progress and the implications of replacing the organic with the engineered. As the robotic horse waits, ready to assume its role, it embodies the silent observer, a witness to the unfolding drama between man, machine, and the beasts that once roamed the 10th E State freely. Through this painting, we are asked to consider not just the technological marvels we create, but also the morality of their use and the spirit of the entities they replace.
