Rorschach Sculpt #4

My abstract-surrealistic art is rooted in the philosophy of Mind Patterns, explored also by Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach. Throughout the creation of my artwork, I delve into the analogies that arise in my mind and strive to enhance them. By incorporating multiple associations within a single piece, the artwork remains open to further interpretations. RorschachSculpt #4 is an exploration of abstract forms and movements, evoking a range of personal analogies and emotions. Each element draws from deep, subconscious memories and feelings, blending them into a cohesive visual narrative. Inkdrop, as a homage to Rorschach's inkblot tests, forms the foundation. Withered roses from my grandmother’s garden, symbolizing decay and the passing of time. Endless needle-fields, reflecting the phobia from my childhood fever nightmares. Black balloons, representing organic, demonic, and erotic desires that rise and distort. The glitches of everyday social media flashes, generating an overwhelming, chaotic audiovisual landscape. Technique: In the motion capture studio, I record my movements, which are then applied to a 3D virtual character that I have sculpted. I capture the imprint of the body on specific frames of the animation. Throughout this process, the shapes undergo a transformation, evolving into polysemantic abstract artwork. Contemplate this artwork to recognize your own mind patterns or simply to free your mind! The artwork is a seamless audiovisual loop lasting 16 seconds, with dimensions of 4000 x 2620 pixels (maintaining the original proportions of Rorschach blot paper).
