on may 11, 2025, president donald trump accepted a $400 million boeing 747-8 from the qatari royal family for temporary use as air force one, with plans to later donate it to his presidential library. the move has sparked bipartisan criticism over potential violations of the constitution’s foreign emoluments clause and raised concerns about national security. experts warn the luxury jet lacks critical safety systems, and retrofitting it could cost billions. even some maga supporters have condemned the decision, citing qatar’s controversial ties and the appearance of foreign influence.
in this scene, president trump hands a qatari official a briefcase stacked with american flags—each folded like u.s. bills. the gesture symbolizes the selling out of america and the betrayal of his loyal maga base—a continuation of the grift, free of charge. in the background looms air force one, gleaming in trump’s signature gold.
