"Why We Return", 2022, 1/1 - This work pulses in a single red monotone, a deliberate narrowing of the spectrum to heighten intensity. Red is the color of blood, circuitry warnings, and cosmic dawns.. It carries urgency and ritual. By stripping the palette to this one primal wavelength, the piece becomes a meditation on why we return to the same loop again and again. Red insists that we look closer, that we feel the heat of connection between nature’s lifeblood and the synthetic glow of machines..
The endless looping form becomes both heartbeat and algorithm, tide and transistor. The cycle never resolves because life itself never resolves.. it only folds back into itself. Nature breathes, machines calculate, humans imagine, and in this work they converge as one seamless current.
This GIF is not static repetition but a living continuity. The infinity of its motion hints at something larger: an unseen architecture of existence, where organic and synthetic, body and code, air and sea are woven into a single endlessness. It is both a signal and a question: why do we keep returning, and what do we discover in the return?
