First off I would like to thank all of my crypto art peers before I describe this work. Coldie, Xcopy, Alotta, Hackatao, Robbie Barrat, MaxOsiris, Thato, MattiaC, Miss Al Simpson, Joe Chiappetta, Norman Harman, JakeArt, Janne, RutgerVanderTas, LoveArtHate, Mlibty, Saito, Gary Cartlidge, BlackBoxDotArt, Josie, TheSarahShow, .......the list goes on.
Anyhow, I finally got down to brass tacks with some 3d collage stuff that I always wanted to do and thanks to the community for inspiring me to finally attempt it. What this piece actually is is my attempt to merge fine art with song. I intend to release the track completely free in the next month of January 2020 whilst the 'cover' art will be rare in its own right. This experiment is not just for me but for the entire recording industry as a whole. Besides the work conveying a message I have in the lyrics, it also is an experiment for musicians to enter the art world as a means to make a better living than using Spotify/Streaming to devalue their work. I also find it perplexing that album artwork is perceived as less valuable than any artwork in the fine art world and that is also a paradigm I wish to challenge. Through this I hope that possibly there might be a beautiful and possibly accidental convergence of the fine art world and music and it seems to me that the time might be right to venture into completely new territory, perhaps redefining entirely what the music industry and fine art world might look like in the future.
