The precise purpose of this stunning bronze artifact is unknown. It has been suggested that it may be an astronomical instrument or, perhaps, a celestial sundial.
This piece has a great patina with the appearance of aged bronze and a wonderful oxidation which produces a vibrant peacock verdigris.
