You can interpret plenty of scenarios and speculations about what is happening here, however many questions may be answered only by your imagination. In an unknown year, perhaps a near or distant future, almost the entire humanity has been infected with the COVID-19 virus. We can see on one of the monitors, that there are 92,62% confirmed cases. Now you can only imagine how the world might look like at this point, where and who are the ones who didn't got infected, will the numbers keep growing, stagnate or drop... Let your imagination dictate what you want this artwork to be. In this window, we can see the reflection of Planet Earth; this is pointing to our location - we are watching inside a spaceship floating in space. As we can see the tag, it becomes clear that this person is working at NASA. She could be an astronaut working as a technician or pilot, or perhaps she could be a scientist working for a cure on COVID-19. Whatever her work is, she is in a quarantine where no humans are infected and with no immediate risk. Or is it really so?
When there are over 92% confirmed cases, it is clear that unconfirmed cases should be more than 99% . She looks at the beautiful blue planet and tries to reach her hand towards the planet, with her fingers on the window. Symbolically we can say she is reaching her hand towards humanity, as they are about to 'disappear' in enormous numbers and change the course our history forever. Meanwhile planet Earth will keep existing, as our civilization is nothing but the blink of an eye in its (Earth's) timeline.A mask floating and particles from sneezing moments ago, might suggest that she is infected as well, and now even the last and safest quarantine is compromised.
Perhaps to work for a cure, one would need the virus as well, but things went out wrong. Or maybe they didn't, maybe she found the cure at last, when the entire world is infected.. including her.. She needs to find the strength to survive and return safely to hand over the antivirus to the right people who will allow for the whole world to benefit from it, and not just one nation. Who knows... let your imagination fly, and answers will find themselves. Of course this is a surreal hint, symbolizing this precise virus. Or maybe, she is just squeezing in her palm this anti-stress rubber toy looking like Coronavirus, made in China... The mysterious red button... I just couldn't resist.
