In uncertain times cultures often turn to folk remedies and charms. This digital work is based in my art practice of non objective geometric abstraction that looks to establish a visual language of the hidden energies around us. Emotions, relationships, personalities and self perception all have an invisible force that permeates and radiates yet is unseen. I use the same repetitive geometric forms to bridge the non-objectivity of my physical works to a create a representational image, in this case the Evil Eye to ward off that which may harm us.
