Models Suck
Artwork Created By: JusSke
This NFT represents the movement my crew and I started from New York City in the 90s. Models Suck was an anti-commercial statement rejecting the intersection of fashion and commerce. It showed that models were more than just breathing mannequins - they are personalities, self-aware, and have the power to influence the world.
The message was supported by many high-profile models at the time. The logo was originally made into a shirt designed by our clothing brand "Danucht”. It was featured in Spike Lee’s "Girl 6. Graffiti-style" Movie, worn by Naomi Campbell, and was published in various media sources including the New York Times, Vogue, and Dazed magazine.
Danucht will stop production of these shirts after this drop.
I dedicate this NFT to my boy Davide Sorrenti.
