Comments: Koko created a healing space in Oakland that provides acupuncture treatment. In the waiting room its a big open space where people are hanging out, listening to vinyl, and drinking rare tea's from all over the world, while talking about philosophy. Koko is always surrounded by warm hearted people that he treats and builds a community through tea ceremony. Every time I step into this place I have back pain and misalignment. When I leave it feels like that weight and pressure is lifted. Chakras aligned and chi flowing throughout the lymphs and vessels. We all need a bit of physical treatment sometimes. To take care of our body, our temples. As you step in to the temple of medicine he carefully built. Koko is a mystic. He can read your aura and your ailment just by looking at you and feeling into your energy channels. He always knew what I needed before I spoke, he even gave me Chinese herbs and remedies for my lungs and aches. Some healers are not classic doctors but they still have doctorate degrees that follow ancient traditions that seemed to have worked for thousands of years. Wisdom that lasted centuries. Food is the cure to any disease. How you eat and how you treat the body will determine how long you will live. So next time you have a minute stop worrying for a minute or an hour and have a cup of tea with your friends. Slow down to enjoy, slow down to calm. There is no rush through life, because why would you rush to the end? Take your time with those around you. Throw on a record, share ideas with your friends, and pour a cup of fine ass tea from foreign mountains. That just may be the medicine you need that sets you free!
