Comments: Today is the Autumnal Equinox, and it is my birthday! You can only balance an egg upright on this day. But on this magical day we find ourselves at the stargate portal during the rising sun at Stonehenge for a druid festival, which only happens once a season to honor sacred tradition and to come in to contact with the ancient stones. Every other day of the year you have to be many meters away, but on a day like today you can run up and dance on them, you are encouraged to do so and I could not believe it. I felt bad for all the people who arrived after we were forced to leave come 8am when the party was over. Back behind the ropes until next portal door was opened by the sun shining through the pathway. Being here during a Druid festival was a childhood dream come true. And to top it all off I was gifted by the ancient gods a buried piece of Labradorite that I still wear around my neck today. I like to think it was a birthday gift from my mother from the grave. But truth is a hippie probably dropped it many sunrises ago and the light ever so caught my eye of the dragon eye stone at the perfect angle of the sun where I could see the shimmer even though it was buried a bit under ground. I dug it up and knew it was a special gift. A protection and guidance stone. One that opens the heart chakra. Ethan shot me shooting him during the sunrise when all was quiet and the orange beams shone through us in the aligned opening where the light cleansed our souls. There is something so pure about seeing a sunrise, you just feel so alive when you are greeted by this cosmic power that wakes up something deep in you. A quiet calmness, food for your consciousness to feast on. Metabolizing energy like a plant absorbs during photosynthesis. Do our skin cells conjure the same effects? I think so. I feel it. We sat on the stones and listened to the flutes and guitars playing. Watching people get married and kids playing with bubbles. Stoners getting stoned on the stoned. Oh wait, that was us, and a few new friends. Charlie busted out a bag of yellow star dust, codenamed DMT. We each took a puff. It sent Ethan off to outer space where he communicated with the Elohim, and saw me as an avatar creature from the film Avatar. I smoked some too and did not send me anywhere, I don't think DMT works on my brain chemistry, because I was told by the spirits I am supposed to be grounded on this Earth in this lifetime, not to be traveling into astral realms. However, I still receive some messages like cosmic downloads. For instance, I closed my eyes and heard inner voices say to me, "There is no mystery here. What you are seeing is what always was. The festivities are the same, celebrating the rising sun and celebrating life gifted to us all at once." Humans have rituals, and this is an ancient one. So, what is the mystery? How was this built? And, why don't we know? Where did that history go? The stones are still here and us humans still dance among them four times a year. I think that was the original plan. The celebrations never changed, and the traditions remains the same for us as long as the stones stand, we continue to sing and dance. That is what they are here for and why we keep showing up. We will never know why, but we will continue to believe. In aliens, in a higher power, in ancient intelligence. The mysteries keep us imagining what was once possible. We woke up at 4am to hike in the fog to immerse ourselves. To celebrate life, my birthday, and the journey around the sun. Just to meet her in the middle of an archway with a few large stones stacked up in the unknown. To leave at 8am and head back home, and find the other stones that are not so spoken about. There was Woodhenge! And, Avebury. Which is like a distant cousin of Stonehenge with sheep grazing freely around the stones. We went there for sunset and sat till the moon rose over our heads. To spend the day between the phases of the sun's path, is the perfect day. Chasing the light and watching it change colors in the sky. Where the shadows land in the landscape. To make photographs of how these obscurities show up and disappear. Light never hits the same wall twice, nor can one step in the same river twice. Because the flow of life is constant and all these external forces move on their own accord. There is no control, there is only being present to witness these precious moments.
