Comments: Finally, after a long drive, I arrived at the walkway beside the sea of my father's home town in Napoli! Walked from one end to another during a morning walk to feel the fresh breeze and smell the salt in the air. Sat by the water on the ledge to meditate and listen to the sounds. Tapping into what my dad grew up with, spreading down the roots again. Made my way past the large castles and barracks to an Italian flag directly in front of Mount Vesuvius. A live Volcano that casted the city, people, and pets of Pompeii in ash when it last devastating eruption. When I look from afar at this giant red ant hill awaiting to erupt again, one can think of their mortality as they are hiking up to the rim to see what is inside. You never know when your last day will be, to be afraid and not do something or be free and die doing what you love. Those are the risks of taking a chance, or not. Where the reward is to see beauty in its purest form. To live without fear is to have trust in the moment and on the path you decide to be; Timing and energy. As I stood thinking these thoughts looking out to living mountain, Dominika and her husband found me. She was all dressed up in red, matching her hair too. Parts of the flag and the symbol of hot magma. Everything fell into place without any planning, it was trusting the moment and the timing where all the pieces to make an artwork or an image perfectly aligned. Dominika became the life force, the lava that spills from the heart of the volcano. The wind blowing the flag behind her honoring Italy in all her beauty where the all the elements come together. The water of the sea, the fire of the heart, the soil of the volcanic land, and the air that blows invisibly until the grey smoke fills the sky.
