Title: October 22nd - 12:16 Medium: Super-8 film Aspect Ratio: 4:3 Resolution: 2880 x 2160 File Type: H.264 Codec / MP4. Comments: Samo met me all the way from Bucharest at Transylvania. It was the dead of night with not a soul around. The Castle clinging to the mountain was illuminated by a strange orange glow. The town was dark and the castle was reflecting tungsten light. The evening before the adventure to count Dracula's castle we had a proper Romanian meal from the Baltics. Samo and I feasted like kings. We have known one another for a few years and this was our first meeting. He was working with me as a moderator and protected the community of our discord chatroom. It was nice to meet someone i've only known online. It is funny how we can trust someone we never met in real life, and spend so much time working together online. Ironic, yet efficient. Samo and I went to our hotels before waking up for sunrise to tour Dracula's castle. Since it was close to Halloween this place really felt perfect for the holiday. The village was prepping for the Hallow eve festival that was coming next week. We walked around in the field before ascending into the interior. We were scoping out the garden to find the right place to shoot. As we waited for the light to pass from the clouds we observed a group of women making selfies, a few children playing and climbing, a couple of lovers reflecting in the pond. Everyone was enjoying themselves in their own sweet way. We watched and made photos at the passing of the day, The sun shined through softly and we outlined the royal contours against Samos brave face. The shoot was done and the film had run out. We walked into the chambers and halls of the stone towers. The legend of Dracula, Vladimir. A fierce warrior that drank the blood of his enemies. Became a nightmare in these wooded parts. The vampiric archetype was born here between the stone mason. Urban legends said he lived for a thousand years whence returned from the dead. Bats are his minions, and blood is his food. They say that you should not invite a vampire in your home or you'll be struck, but what if you entered the home of the vampire? And subvert their power and danger. How to heal a vampire before it's too late and they eat the stake? With love. Because there is no more powerful force than the ancient resonance of the highest frequency. Negative to positive. A life renewed to be pure again.
