Comments: I drove through the night to meet my twin friends, Katerina & Marie. We met in 2018 when I was shooting Twin Flames. We were all vegan and bonded over good food and art. They called themselves witches and practiced dark arts and magic. When I arrived I noticed they had shaved their heads clean to an orange fuzz. We smoked a few joints of their fathers weed plants and drank some tea over a tarot reading. Sitting in the kitchen was their vegan model friend Adenike. We all hung out and had lunch in the kitchen. We went on a walk into their garden, then their backyard which lead to a small stream and a nature trail. The twins brought their orange locks to be part of the shoot. They wore matching orange Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington hoodies and swung their dreads from side to side. It was the day after Hallow's eve, but today really felt like a Halloween treat. Adenike was hiding in the shot behind the leaves of the tree. This was the shot the twins asked me to shoot. Their hair as the portal to connecting two projects across a decades time. How do characters appear and re-appear over time in different ideas and projects? Is art the life we live and the evidence we show of it? Photography and video are the tools I use. Like a time traveler decoding the present moment through light and beauty. The present moment never died, it was extended into infinity. When we integrate and interweave projects. It is like a Quantum leap through time and space. The thing that changes are the people and their features, how we grow and how we age. What does a memory become if it can be updated? The twins led me back to their art room waving their dreads like a air traffic control signaler on a runway guiding a plane to land amidst the fog on the turmak. Right to the couch. They saw how exhausted and unslept I was so offered me to stay the night and take a nap. They tucked me in and put me to bed. I was laying in the dark for 5 hours surrounded by their art. When I awoken it was time for me to go on towards Austria. So the twins packed me up a vegan lunch and a couple of joints for the road and off I went into the night going from rest stop to rest stop taking breaks to cool down my fatigue. Then arrived in Austria and crashed out until the morning shined through the windows.
