Comments: Aekakshara was the new chef, straight out of university, at a hotel near the Taj Mahal we had visited. Ethan gifted her a large pink flower from the lobby vase and we asked the manager if she can step outside with us to make her portrait. During her lunch break she joined us outside on the steps by the pool in the rain. I made her portrait then we went back inside to enjoy a breakfast with her and the staff. We went back outside in the rain and wandered around the venue chasing the sounds of brilliant blue and green birds squawking. A thousand eyes of the peacock's tail greeted us in the small wooded area of the hotel. It walked us into a bush where we snuck a toke then returned to our rooms to enjoy the sounds hitting the terracotta ceilings like drums making music on the windowsill. We rested before preparing our next impromptu road trip to Jaipur, the colorful and rich city, with castles made of pink sands.
