Title: January 12th - 20:28 Medium: Super-8 film Aspect Ratio: 4:3 Resolution: 2880 x 2160 File Type: H.264 Codec / MP4. Comments: It was a cold and snowy evening at the Tuancheng Fortress. Wang Fei is a student of the Ip Man school of kung fu and self defense. Scarlet brought us together. She flew from Cheng Du and set me up with a ride from the airport to one of the most legendary Peking duck in the city where I met her and Wang Fei. We walked over to the fortress where he showed us some of his moves kicking snowflakes in mid air with precision and discipline. He is a spiritual warrior in the cold air of the empty night. There were only guards and us. I was worried that the video wouldn't come out as there was barely any light illuminating him. Scarlet held two phones up to light him while he was making his moves. The film grain feels like the white snow, and the fortress from the past subtly fills the background in all of its red and gold glory and majesty of the dynasty of ancient Chinese emperors who built this Forbidden city.
