Title: February 22nd - 05:57 Medium: Super-8 film Aspect Ratio: 4:3 Resolution: 2880 x 2160 File Type: H.264 Codec / MP4. Comments: Water is the life blood of the Amazon. The waterways are the roads to get around. The boats are the cars in traffic crossing from cities to villages and back again. It is the quickest way through, yet they are always changing, always bending upon new floods and droughts. Adaption to the ever shifting landscape. Even the roads break down with landslides. The jungle eats everything. You will see trees break from the forest and float up and down the river. Panthers swimming across with their cubs, caiman hunting for their next meal. Monkeys drown and fish are caught. Families swim for fun and bathe for health. The sacred river provides everything you need. Food and water. And the trees for shelter. Basic human needs. We row in the boats or flow with the motors and engines back home. Back to the buses to take us to the planes. To fly to another place. In this case, Colombia. Where the journey takes me to the beaches of Cartagena.
