Title: May 16th - 17:15 Medium: Super-8 film Aspect Ratio: 4:3 Resolution: 2880 x 2160 File Type: H.264 Codec / MP4. Comments: We started our morning meditation sitting by the river. By this point in our trip we were in a group chat of dozens of Japanese locals and we were introduced to Junko & Takakura. Takakura suggested we meet them at Kiyomizu-dera Temple in the late afternoon. Junko was dressed in traditional Japanese raiment for the portrait. She stood at the top of the stairs awaiting Takakura to ascend and embrace her under the holy gate. We walked around the temple garden for a while learning more about Takakura's paintings and digital artwork. Ethan was talking to Junko about the music he is working on. The sound for this clip by Ethan is a heartwarming feeling of coming home to love. We parted ways with the couple for sun set and descended the staircase back towards the center of town. We sat by the river again as the sky drew pink and tangerine. There was guitar busker playing psychedelic blues calmly into the night.
