During the day we met with our friends from Kyoto and their friends who lived in Osaka. Yuya, Yu , Tomoro, Atsushi & Kawashima lead us to the great Osaka Temple. We started on to a long walk through the park into the landmark. We approached the incline up to the temple and we started playing the Super Mario theme song as the castle reminded us of a level from the video game. A nostalgic memory from whence we used to be game boys. Kawashima brought the extraordinary group of gentlemen a few pairs of his royal green & yellow rain jackets. Ethan and I were already dressed in ours since we received his gift. He knighted the rest of the group as initiates of the bamboo boys. I started recording the guys trying on the jackets. Then, asked the group to get together and embody the spirit of teamwork, teathered by the jackets gifted by Kawashima. They all put their hands in the middle, hand over hand, and lifted up to the sky to celebrate their new connection by the ancient temple. The guys floated towards me and the sacred temple was moving in stills.
