The dream in the night that you can feel but cant remember? A cloud of smoke for a spiritual delight. I breathed in through my nose and smelled the cosmic ashes in the air. Someone just broke through; they're awareness. I sat and watched as they passed it over. Then started getting ready for a meeting with Yufi to talk about her paintings. I left the group and returned a couple hours later with her. They passed me a joint and we started listening to music from the 70's. It started to feel stuffy from all the colors and kinds of smoke so we went outside to get fresh air. It was long after midnight. Kevin showed us a special place by the river he and Jane like to visit. We couldn't see much other than the tungsten lanterns on buildings and bridges. It was so dark but there were groups of older people drinking whiskey and laughing hysterically all night under the street light. We all stood by the flowing water. It was 2 am and we were leaving at 8 in the morning to Hong Kong. It was too dark to shoot so we promised Kevin and Jannie we would come back for sunrise a few hours later. We under slept, and met with our friends again in the same place we just were. The light dramatically changed the landscape. It was an entirely different place then we were hours ago. We could now see the distant structures and details hidden by the dark of night. I turned around and saw the couple hugging and kissing. It was time to shoot! The young sweet lovers started walking as if no one else exists. I silently followed them along the river as they held hands in the grassy field. Kevin an Jannie walked off into the sunrise as silhouettes and Ethan and I hitched a cab straight to the airport.
