Comments: We left the Grand Canyon after sunrise and drove straight through the National Forest south to our next destination, Sedona. A spiritual haven in the southwest. Some say this city is an energy vortex. We arrived into our astral home. It was a Xanadu--We will learn more from the owners of the property... in a few days. We rested for hours since we had not slept. Jumping from vortex to vortex; Joshua Tree, to the Grand Canyon, to here... we woke up the next day. Early. We were planning to meet John's mother, Kelly. She had just moved her during the pandemic from New Jersey. She was happy here. Kelly introduced us to her favorite hiking trails around the area. It was scorching hot and the sun beamed down in the middle of the day, but we still had a blast on the red rocks. She said to Ethan, can I show you a trick? He said yes. She had him lay down facing the rock and over the ledge with half of his body. She sat on top of him and held him in place. She shown him to hang over more of the rock and let go with trust. He was flying...then he got up. I took out my camera and started to record her spreading her wings with joy and laughter. It was time for a chai. We descended the mountain and went back to the cars. Drove over to a local chai spot and introduced her to the sweet spices of life. Its healing when sharing what we love with other people. From hiking to drinking tea... It is what connects us to be.
