Comments: It was the first day of the MAPS psychedelic science convention of 2023. Most of the psychonauts of the planet congregated here to share their ideas and research of the development of their scientific and psychological experiments with plant medicines. We listened to some of our heroes like Paul Stamets, Dennis McKenna, and William Leonard Picard. A couple of Mycological masters and a Lysergic designer. We took a few droplets from a vial to set the tone for the occasion. Going through multiple panels and checking out the artwork that I was hanging for an art show. It was time to go outside to smoke a joint and meet the curators of the booth. There were a handful of day trippers and therapeutical misfits laying out in the colorful dog park. We thought to hangout, why not! Sat on the turf and lit one up. A pastor came over and asked where the nearest dispensary was. We pointed him down a few blocks from the convention center. He left his belongings and said I’ll be right back fellas! Ethan and I were confused, but we remained holding the space for the priest. His name was St. Peter, a holy man from Maine. He came back with the Alaskan Thunderfuck. He rolled one up and passed it on as we heard the preacher peach. Peace and love; The Taurus vortex to channel sacred energy. “We are what we think… so let go… let God.” We were so high on drops of acid. I thought it was the Heavenly Father; God themself. A mighty white beard electrified with wisdom. An innocent blue eyed glaze. Clear minded. I asked for permission to carry his vision with a heavenly glow. Recording Peter channeling the Taurus’s energy flow. The humans were flocking around us in the dog park playing and laying on the faux grass. Seeking nature, yearning connection. It felt like what it must’ve been in the summer of 67… Now a psychedelic journey infiltrating the legislation, the pharmacy’s, and old thought patterns. A new age, a new hope for healing. The medicines are the tools… To becoming.
