I always wanted to visit the Crystal Bridges museum so we ended up here. Our friend John G recommended we check out whats going on in this cool little bicycle town run by the Walmart family. I posted good morning Arkansas on the twitter feed as I usually did every day wherever we were to connect with local online communities. A follower turned friend, Joshua, messaged me and was happy to meet up with us. He arrived with his wonderful wife and new born baby, I believe there was a dog too! It was a happy family. We sat over a croissant and talked about the digital art space. Learned more about what he is working on. We went to the museum for a while to appreciate the fine art they have on display. Greeted with a spider by the master, Louise Bourgeois. Walking past 10 years of skyspace by renowned land artist, James Turrell. We went inside and found ourselves in the Kusama Infinity room, again. The first time being with Sunny back at M+ in Hong Kong. She's everywhere! We wandered through the halls of the museum admiring their modern and contemporary collections. There was an event happening so we scurried out before they closed. Joshua wanted to show us around his town so took us to the town square. It was done up with classic Americana festive nativity. Independence day is right around the corner so I thought they were decorating the town for the holidays. Or, is it always like this? From a silhouette to the main subject, Joshua walked towards and passed me on the red brick road. To show us both sides of himself, the town and park. His home.
