SUMMERTIME BLUES 2019 SABET

I remember painting this piece like it was yesterday. Creating work daily for my auctions on Instagram. It's how I paid the bills. I was so happy to be doing what I loved to do. No more clients, no more 6 a.m texts and no more emergency meetings about why someones logo wasn't big enough, or pink enough. I was free! It was just me in my little studio, large pieces of art paper, India Ink and water colors. Summer Time Blues signifies a place and time where my transition to a full-time artist was complete. I was a full-time painter and that was just pure bliss. Even though I've recreated this piece once or twice before digitally, this is the first all hand-painted piece on paper with ink and water colors.
