A cloud arrived,
from the far fields of thought
and rested
upon the mountain of my mind.
It neither wept,
nor wandered on.
No thunder stirred,
no sky broke open.
Only
its shadow fell
on words unsaid,
on vanished roads,
on dreams
that had no memory of me.
It stood,
not by choice,
not by fate
simply there.
And I,
within that quiet fog,
became a shape
without a name,
a whisper
lost
to myself.
