I'm selling this piece now because I need to pay rent. I'm currently working on a short film that incorporates elements of this piece, but I don't have the resources to finish it yet. I'd rather sell this than release the movie prematurely. I still need to align the clips, score them, and add voice-overs. This piece would be more likely to sell than my other recent pieces because it has the same stylistic identity as my former work. Ronald Ong told me that it's hard for people to buy my new art because they've lost sight of who I was visually. A part of creating this piece was to surrender to the collective consciousness. I don't understand why, but this style satisfies a group of people enough to spend large amounts of money on it. I intend to continue my experimentation and exploration of other media, while also creating art that sells. It is much easier now to commit to this because I have goals now. I intend to produce films and establish a media company in Phoenix, Arizona. There are many digital artists here exploring the medium of filmmaking, and I plan to be here when the Phoenix arises from the ashes. The collector of this piece will be sent the latest version of the short film.
