Eyes Locked

Taken in Westminster, London, February, 2016 Shortlisted for the British Photography Awards 2022 - Street Category At a bus stop, I noticed an elderly woman with an expressive face sitting at the window. My intention was to capture a candid portrait of her, so I quickly moved into position before she became aware of my intentions. I only had to wait a few seconds for her to make eye contact with my lens before this image was captured.
