I have really bad sleep paralysis and sometimes hallucinate right before I sleep/right when I wake up. Ill go through motions fully knowing what's happening but unable to control my body. Sometimes theres shadow figures in the corner of my site.
This photo was taken in my friend's attic- she lived in an old victorian house and the attic was never renovated (which makes it perfect). I did an installation of sorts for this image- I brought over furniture from my studio, painted a skeleton black, wrapped it in sheets and sticks and wired it up just right on the bed. My friend's daughter (who has always been amazing) slid in underneath the skeleton.
