Urban Picnic

The world sprawled out around them, but as far as they were concerned all that mattered was their own small talk and their lunch. Sometimes their words hung heavy in the air and affixed to the walls nearby, but mostly they whispered of what could be. Barely sparing a glance as the world walked by, these two enjoyed each other and that was enough.
