Beneath the Visible

This piece is an exploration of internal landscapes—where memory, emotion, and uncertainty intersect beyond narrative form. Rather than illustrating a specific image, it invites the viewer into a shifting space, where color and texture function as emotional frequencies. The interplay between grounded earth tones, vibrant turquoise, and consuming black is intentional, evoking a sense of conflict, renewal, and reflection. Working abstractly allows me to approach painting not as a way of representing the external world, but as a method of processing the internal one. Every layer, every mark, is a trace of presence—an imprint of hesitation, instinct, or release. This work does not seek resolution, but rather offers a space to sit with what is unresolved.
