This is one of these photos you take when you find yourself at the right place at the right time. If I'd imagine this building without the shadows I don't know if I'd have taken the shot. But when I bumped into it I knew I had a great photo there. One of these moments photographers hit the streets for.
The building is located in Lasnamäe, the most populous district in Tallinn, Estonian capital. One of these ex soviet districts characterized by the apartment blocks or Khrushchyovka.
Besides being one of my favorite photos, it quickly became very popular and it was chosen by my publisher to be the back cover of my first book, titled 'Urban Geometry'.
Lasnamäe, Tallinn. Estonia. 2020
