i've lost this little body of mine, to migraines

The title card painting for the 1 of 1 of 50 collection, sharing in it's namesake. --- acrylics, oil pastels, assorted fabrics and glue on duck cotton canvas. "I live inside myself, gluing together this jigsaw, despite losing this little body of mine. It didn’t hold. A short-lived fantasy, melting at the seams where my stitches should be. The soft part of my head bangs jarringly against my hollow skull. A birdcage for my thoughts, more complex than my little jigsaw; for if I lose more of myself, the migraines will never go away."
