This piece combines footage I filmed at a funfair in my hometown of Southampton, with a song I wrote and recorded called Take Me There.
Both the audio and the visual elements take inspiration from our need as humans to escape the mundane, to lose ourselves, and seek out the thrill and excitement of human connection and the transcendent adrenaline rush of ecstatic experience.
