It was a dark and cold night and I found myself stranded in the middle of nowhere. My car had broken down and I had no phone signal. The only option was to walk until I found help. As I walked in the pouring rain, I stumbled upon an old railway crossing gate. It looked like it had been abandoned for years, but it had something that attracted me to keep looking at it. My mind races, thoughts full of doubt, How did I end up here? What's the way out? I try to recall, but the memory's hazy, Eerie stillness, the night's mind-numbingly crazy.
