Eternal Cadence

'Eternal Cadence' 1/1 23MP 5253 x 5253px Cadence is a beat, time, or measure of rhythmical motion. This work speaks of transcendence & the unseen energies around & within us, a rhythm of the metaphysical. Created first in physical form then digitalised with high resolution photography as NFT, this matrix of calligraphic strokes disperses into the inky black vastness like a gentle exhale. I painted this after keeping a vigil for my Mother as she passed. Holding space for her in death I was struck by how parallel death was to birth. A sacred passage-painful, challenging & very human but also beautifully metaphysical. I had felt the rhythm of life’s ‘Eternal Cadence’. This work is the genesis piece and catalyst for the Painted Veil Collection.
