Whilst this image showcases a seemingly unnatural display of gravity bending as the falling lip seems to be curling in on itself before its made impact, and regardless of its forward momentum, this was also the last moment before I realised my friends jetski was sinking.
Pretty much the unthinkable that you would want to happen, was happening, the saviour was an inflatable collar attached to the jetski for added buoyancy. This Huzzas wave is not a place you want to be in the water, This wave sits infront of an offshore island a few kilometres out to sea with a large seal population inhabiting it, aswell as gigantic great white sharks that hunt them.
From this moment an emergency evacuation back to the coast was made, with the jetski nose and ski angle pointing up to the sky as the water inside rushed into the tail of the craft. Not an experience I would like to have again and I return home with this memory of the day
