This swell had Huzzas Inside Bubble pretty much at max capacity. When you start to see the bubbling and folding in on the face, it is a sign that the swell is very strong and that it is overwhelming the reef in front of it.
Zooming into the centre of the frame reveals some exquisite details. and my driving in this moment allowed for a close proximity photograph in an extremely intense situation. These trips push me to my capacity, they don't seem to get any easier but it is my responsibility to stay safe in these critical environments.
