We arrived just after sunrise, having stopped to help a car accident right at the beginning of the drive to Huzzas, this was a ginormous swell, similar to something we would see in the dead of winter. There was a relentless stream of storm fronts that came battering through every 30 minutes which were super heavy, but these impending dark clouds and the early morning light made for some really incredible moments. Like someone was looking down on us. Ive never seen Huzzas break like this in summer. It had a different feel to it. there was a,ot less water on the reef but the weather felt like winter.
