A new version of Huzzas, and some precarious positioning to record a moment before needing to evacuate position. This wave seems to be so fickle, being able to witness its phenomenal angle to the setting sun requires the clouds, wind, swell and tide all in the correct range. Directly behind me is swell line exposed barnacle encrusted rock shelf so sitting here was an adrenaline filled first attempt. Its a fair pressure filled environment right at sunset with still a big journey back arriving just as its getting proper dark. I am hoping to study this location further as I continue this study, it truly gets a breath taking angle to the setting sun but getting all the factors and enough swell, this is the second time in five years Ive seen even this opportunity.
