On the very inside of the reef which sits out the end of a huge peninsula of land, the whole ocean seems to surge over the reef, detonating ts energy onto the jagged boulders that line this inhospitable yet inexplicably beautiful coastline. In these large period swells, and this area dropping off into deep water I am able to expertly position the jetski so that I can photograph the wave while moving over the incoming surge. It is a spectacular experience to see so many volumes of water being articulated into a thick glass like shape that evolves infront of your eyes.
