I cant help but be reminded of other elements on our earth while creating these artworks. My time in Thailand included a visit to an elephant sanctuary that rehabilitates exploited animals, giving them a peaceful new life and safety. While I nwas there the newest and youngest elephant in the centre took an immediate liking to me. something the caretaker remarked quickly. it was always looking out for me, and who knows, maybe its spirit is still looking out for me, while i'm swimming around in the ocean.
